Explore Europe's most beautiful river routes in absolute luxury – our Rhine Class river cruise ships make it possible.
European River cruises are gaining popularity and Crystal River Cruises offers exclusive tours with a fleet of five of the finest river cruising ships in the world. Four of these were manufactured at our shipyard in Wismar.
As with all things built by MV WERFTEN, the Crystal River Cruises fleet emphasizes quality, not quantity. A maximum of 106 passengers travels in 53 suites on the 135-metre long, 11-metre wide ships. What sets the Rhine Class apart: they mark the first and only all-suite, all-balcony river ships in Europe, with every category of accommodations situated above the water line. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the public areas provide spectacular views of the surrounding landscape – a feature that is unmatched elsewhere in the river cruise industry.
Guests are able to explore the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Hungary in deluxe comfort on the rivers Rhine, Main, Danube and Moselle. Once on board, guests can look forward to personal butler service, three gourmet restaurants, a spacious spa and gym, a counter-current swimming pool as well as the world's highest crew-to-passenger ratio in the river cruise industry.
MV WERFTEN is proud to have delivered four of the world's most technologically advanced river ships with exquisite furnishings and the highest possible safety and navigation standards. These include a permanently staffed, high-tech navigation bridge as well as rudder propellers for optimum maneuverability.
The “Crystal Bach” and “Crystal Mahler” were handed over to Crystal River Cruises in the summer of 2017, setting new standards in the river cruise industry. The structurally identical “Crystal Debussy” and “Crystal Ravel” followed in spring 2018. Like the names suggest, each ship is a masterpiece.
